The contribution to I Ching by poet Su Shi

Maybe you’ve heard of Li Bai, a household Chinese poet,but Su Shi has actually gained more fame in Chinese literature. Su Shi (January 8, 1037 – August 24, 1101), also known as Su Tungpo, was a Chinese writer, poet, painter, calligrapher, pharmacologist, gastronome, and a statesman of the dynasty.

We know that there are some Commmentaries on the I Ching,even Confucius wrote 2 books to comment on I Ching. The most famous is the Tongpo I Ching Commentaries written by Su Shi.

In this book, Su Shi shows unprecedented understanding of I Ching and his  outstanding talent.

Despite his misfortune in political life, he has achieved what nobody can surpass during the following 1,000 years in poetry, calligraphy, and philosophy .
